The Culture High is a documentary that tears into the very fibre of modern day marijuana prohibition to reveal the truth behind the arguments and motives governing both those who support and those who oppose the existing pot laws. Culture High Director Brett Harvey and Producer Adam Scorgie talk to Cenk Uygur about the longstanding propaganda against marijuana and why technology has enabled people to tear those arguments against marijuana health and safety apart. How has the war on marijuana failed? The Culture High uses interviews with ex-police officers and DEA agents about how they're incentivized to go for possession arrests over all other crimes. How can people enact change in the way marijuana is distributed and penalized?

Cenk Uygur sits down with Peter Joseph, founder of the Zeitgeist movement and creator of Zeitgeist, The Movie. The Zeitgeist movement's goal is to create global sustainability by changing established social systems. Can people save the world by changing socially? Is the market economy responsible for corruption, and is it serving its original purpose? Does the market economy leave room for true freewill, and is it truly possible to shed ourselves of material goods? Is Wall Street and its influence creating a sickness among mankind?

Cenk Uygur talks to Peter Joseph in-depth about the Zeitgeist movement, answering questions including how it would work, if it could work, and why the current social structure needs it to work.

Cenk debates right wing self-described atheist (and Fox News and Sean Hannity favorite) S.E. Cupp (author of Losing Our Religion: The Liberal Media's Attack on Christianity) who argues there is an anti-Christian liberal media bias. They also touch on the Tea Party protests. Critics have argued Cupp is a young Ann Coulter. Cupp was also grilled by Bill Maher on Real Time on HBO. She tried to say Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow were anti-religion.

Todd Stiefel is the found and president of Stiefel Free Thought Foundation, one of the leading atheist groups in the country.

He says he was born an atheist (as we all are) and grew up devoutly Catholic. Only later did he realize the practices and mantras he learned at religious camps were simillar to practices used in brainwashing. He says his group's goal is not to convert the religious over to atheism, but to prevent people from becoming fundamentalist.

According to Stiefel, atheists have an uphill battle in the quest for public acceptance, but it is doable. He says atheists need to gain respect from the religious and show that they have morality and also show how most religious people have more in common with atheists than they do with fundamentalists.

He says the model for the atheist movement should be the LGBT community - need to come out, organize, and get financial support. Stiefel says freethinking has to replace other things religions have to offer - social connection, charity, and more. Can that be achieved?

Ashley Spillane is the president of Rock the Vote, and is working to help young voters realize how crucially important it is to exercise their right to vote. You may have seen the "Turn Out for What" music video with Lil' Jon- it's fun and lighthearted, but drives home the message to millenials that voting is an important way to support causes that matter to them. How can Rock the Vote combat apathy and other barriers preventing them from voting? What really stops young people from voting?

John Iadarola (TYT, TYT University) interviews Rock the Vote President, Ashley Spillane all about Rock the Vote and why voting is so deeply necessary, no matter what your beliefs.

Professor Reza Aslan is the author of the New York Times #1 Bestseller "Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth," and is a writer and scholar on religious studies.

Is there a media bias against Islam? Reza Aslan points to certain media pundits and hosts who call all religion bad, but Islam "the worst." Is it bigoted when pundits like Sam Harris call any non-extremist Muslims "not real" Muslims? Are some media commentators denouncing and defining Christian and Muslim extremism themselves fundamentalist bigots? Where is the balance between when interpreting holy text? What is the difference between atheism and neo-atheism? Is there such a thing as the one "truth?"

Reza Aslan sits down with The Young Turks' Cenk Uygur to discuss and debate the state of religious commentary in media, religious ignorance, the removal of religion from society and neo-atheism, what it really means to be religious, picking-and-choosing attitudes across the board, and much more on fundamental misunderstandings of religion.
